A Dallas Police Officer was taken into custody after turning himself in on a harassment charge. Officer Dekoven Joshlin, known by badge number 11528, voluntarily surrendered to the Harris County Sheriff’s Department on Monday, in connection with a warrant issued by the Houston Police Department.
Having joined the force in May 2018, Joshlin is reportedly part of the Northwest Patrol Division of the department. In a report shared by the Dallas Police Department, it was confirmed that following his arrest for the misdemeanor, Joshlin has been placed on administrative leave, pending the results of an internal investigation set to determine the next steps.
