Early this morning, multiple law enforcement agencies came together in a coordinated blitz across the Denver metro area, with the Boulder County Sheriff's Office spearheading a series of search warrant operations. The joint task force, including agencies from Adams to Wheat Ridge, swung into action at 7:00 a.m., targeting seven residences and two storage lockers, according to the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
These operations stem from an ongoing Grand Jury investigation directed by the Boulder County District Attorney's Office. The DA's office is expected to publicly release the indictments and more details of the charges upon the successful apprehension of suspects currently under wraps. "Judicially approved warrants are being carried out as part of a Grand Jury investigation conducted by the District Attorney's Office and local law enforcement," the DA's office noted, as per the Boulder County Sheriff's Office.
A Joint Information Center (JIC) was established at the Boulder County Emergency Operations Center to manage communications for the extensive, multi-agency operation. Inquiries regarding the Grand Jury investigation have been directed to the Boulder County District Attorney's Office, while the Sheriff's Office will continue to act as the central hub of information for field operations.
