Residents in the Nānākuli area, particularly those of Princess Kahanu Estates, are being notified by the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands (DHHL) about an upcoming boundary survey. According to an announcement on the DHHL's website, the survey will take place on the Kamehameha Preschools lot located at 87-115 Waiolu Street and is scheduled for the week of October 27 to October 31, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The scope of the survey includes boundary and topographic assessments, with field crews operating in and around the specific area. Homestead residents are asked to provide access and accommodate the teams for the survey to be conducted effectively and safely. Minor traffic disruptions may occur as field workers, who will be wearing proper identification, perform their duties.
Those looking for more details or wishing to reach out with questions or concerns can contact field engineering consultants at Hawaii Engineering Group, with Jacob Teter available at 808-635-3084, or DHHL Project Manager, Kehaulani Quartero at 808-730-0325. The DHHL expresses gratitude in advance for the cooperation from residents.
