Affected streets include Court Avenue from north of Joy Street to south of the Main Street parking lot, West Bruce Street from the courthouse parking entrance to Court Avenue, and Bruce Street from Court Avenue to the Municipal Parking Lot exit. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid the event area, as stated by the Sevierville Police Department.
The Spooktacular Block Party will take place with road closures in effect for safety, according to the Sevierville Police Department on their Facebook page. The event will include costume parties, trick-or-treating, and Halloween decorations. Residents and motorists are advised to plan ahead for the temporary street closures.
