With 29 years at Milwaukee Area Technical College (MATC), Dr. Michael Rosen taught Economics and served as president of the faculty and staff union, AFT Local 212. He was previously appointed to the Wisconsin Technical College System (WTCS) Board by Governor Jim Doyle and now returns for another term.
Dr. Michael Rosen is associated with the FAST Fund, an initiative that has provided financial assistance to MATC students. According to a statement from the City of Milwaukee, the fund distributed $800,000 in emergency grants over the past year to support nearly 3,000 students in continuing their education and training for technical employment.
