A major two-vehicle collision on the 13700 block of North Freeway was more than just an accident, as deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office determined after arriving at the scene on October 2. The driver at fault, Franklin Lovo, didn't just make a simple error in judgment—he was found to be driving under influence at a scary 0.230 blood alcohol content, almost three times the legal limit. Visible signs of intoxication led to a series of field sobriety tests, and the results were unfortunately as expected.
According to a Facebook post by Precinct 4, Lovo's condition was more than enough to warrant an arrest and a charge for Driving While Intoxicated (DWI). His bond was subsequently set at $100.00 by County Court 15, as relayed by Constable Mark Herman.
