New rainfall amounts between a quarter and a half inch are expected, affecting all boroughs with similar intensity.
The start of the work week will bring showers and possible thunderstorms before 8 a.m. on Monday, followed by continued chances of showers throughout the day. Temperatures are expected to remain steady in the low 60s, with south winds shifting to the west in the afternoon. Conditions are expected to improve to clearer skies by Monday night.
Looking ahead, Tuesday is expected to have sunny skies with highs near 68 degrees. There is a 50 percent chance of showers Tuesday night across all boroughs. Midweek forecasts for Brooklyn, Queens, the Bronx, and Staten Island indicate slightly cooler temperatures with mostly sunny conditions.
