The City of Euless is inviting locals to the annual Crud Day on November 1st from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at City Hall, located at 201 N. Ector Dr., Euless, Texas. This event gives residents the opportunity to safely dispose of hazardous household waste, including items like paint, chemicals, and oils.

Offered in partnership with the City of Fort Worth’s Crud Cruiser mobile collection trailer, space is limited to materials from around 125 households. Residents are also encouraged to bring small electrical appliances for recycling, such as computers, radios, and hair dryers. Detailed in a recent announcement, once the mobile unit is full, additional materials can be taken to the Environmental Collection Center (ECC) in Fort Worth.

At the same event, the city will also hold Shred Day. Residents can get rid of sensitive documents through a secure, drive-through paper shredding and recycling service. According to information found on the City of Euless' official website, paper clips and staples can be left in documents, but certain items like CDs and three-ring binders are not acceptable.

Note that there is a cost to the City for each household's waste processed on Crud Day and at the ECC, and residents are urged to make their trips count. Residents must provide proof of residency to take part in both Crud Day and Shred Day, and when disposing of waste at the ECC. For a complete list of what you can dump or shred, an advisory on the city's website suggests visiting www.eulesstx.gov/hazmat or calling 817-685-1821.
