Lyndell "Lynn" Price, previously indicted on arson-related charges, is now facing additional federal charges, including two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm and one count of possessing a firearm in connection with drug trafficking. Court documents state that Price allegedly possessed a DP-12 shotgun and a Dickinson 12-gauge shotgun, one equipped with a flamethrower, from 2019 to 2022 while distributing marijuana. Price’s attorney, Chukwudi Ifeanyi Egbuonu, said, "The Government’s addition of three unrelated charges is an indication of how they are viewing the merits of the overall case," according to FOX 26 Houston.
New charges have been filed in an ongoing arson investigation. The individual was previously arrested in April 2025 on conspiracy charges related to a June 2020 fire at Bar 5015. The U.S. Attorney's Office states that, with the help of others, the suspect allegedly orchestrated an arson attack on the establishment, causing a large explosion and extensive local damage, though no injuries were reported. The suspect is also linked to a separate 2020 incident involving the arson of a 1975 Chevrolet Nova.

Each individual could receive up to 20 years in prison and fines of up to $250,000, with an arson-to-a-vehicle charge potentially adding another five years. Authorities continue to investigate the case as the judicial process moves forward, focusing on enforcement of the law in response to these serious criminal charges.
