Following an ongoing investigation into the sinister world of child sexual abuse material, a Fairfield man has been detained by authorities. The Solano County Sheriff’s Office disclosed through a social media post that its detectives, in collaboration with the Sheriff's Enforcement Team, executed a search warrant yesterday at a local residence located in the 900 block of Buchanan Street. Their efforts unearthed multiple items suggestive of the possession and distribution of deeply troubling content.
Edgar Montenegro, 42, was arrested after detectives reportedly discovered canvas images of child sexual abuse material displayed on the walls of the aforementioned residence.
Montenegro, previously jailed on unrelated charges, now faces additional legal challenges as he was booked on multiple felony counts. The suspect is currently held on $100,000 bail.
