
The Baltimore Police Department is actively investigating a stabbing incident that occurred in the Central District, leaving one man dead and another severely injured. According to Baltimore Witness, the attack took place last night around 9:15 p.m. on the 800 block of N. Bond Street.
Responding to a call of a cutting, officers arrived to find a 47-year-old male victim with stab wounds. Shortly thereafter, a second victim, aged 52, was found with similar injuries near the intersection of Broadway and Monument Street. The preliminary investigation suggested that the two men were involved in an altercation to eventually led to the deadly encounter.
Both men were transported to an area hospital, where the 47-year-old was pronounced dead. The second victim is listed in critical condition as medical teams continue to fight for his life. Details about what may have precipitated the altercation are still under investigation by the Baltimore Police, as reported by Fox Baltimore.
