
Early this morning, a grim discovery was made in an apartment complex on Sunbury Lane, with authorities reporting that a man was found fatally stabbed. According to Click2Houston, the tragedy occurred near Easton Commons Drive and West Road in northwest Harris County. The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is currently piecing together the circumstances surrounding the incident amidst an active investigation.
The deputies responded to the scene after a report of a man, who was "possibly intoxicated," entered another family's apartment by mistake. As reported by KHOU, Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said, "Preliminary info: the deceased male, possibly intoxicated, got into the apartment of another family and the stabbing occurred." The identity of the man remains unreleased at this juncture.
The circumstances leading up to the stabbing are still unclear, with the Sheriff's Office withholding additional details about potential charges or information regarding those involved. Nonetheless, the Crime Scene Unit and homicide detectives were called in to take a closer look at what led to the male being pronounced dead at the scene with a stab wound.
