While some might be wary of yet another ping in a sea of texts, this new system is all about keeping people in the loop on their Municipal Court matters—it's the brainchild of the City of Fort Worth and the law firm Linebarger Goggan Blair & Sampson, LLP, taking a step towards a service less ensnarled in red tape, more embedded in the rapid-fire digital discourse we’re accustomed to. Court users are being nudged to engage with the collection agency, discussing payment plans and staring down the barrel of their financial obligations with potentially more ease and certainly more immediacy.
