
Anne Arundel County Police have escalated their efforts in the aftermath of a Severn shooting, resulting in the charging of four individuals, including three teenagers. The events unfolded when officers were dispatched on July 7, following the reports of gunfire in the 8100 block of Meade Village Road, a disturbance that led to several homes being hit by bullets. According to Fox Baltimore, detectives identified the suspects and executed search warrants on September 23.
During the raids of two residences, a 15-year-old juvenile was apprehended, while another 15-year-old was cited for drug offenses. Fox Baltimore notes that a third 15-year-old was already in custody for a separate shooting that occurred in June. The fourth suspect, 25-year-old Darren Raul Donastorg, was located during an additional search on September 26 in Hanover. This particular raid resulted in the seizure of various narcotics and firearms.
Recovered items from the searches included Suboxone strips, MDMA pills and powder, over 63 grams of cannabis, and two handguns, as reported by The Bay Net. The police have not only taken the suspects into custody, but they are also maintaining the active status of the case, implying that more details may surface as the investigation continues.
