Frisco Police were called to a fatal shooting incident on the evening of October 9, just outside Frisco High School. The confrontation escalated, leaving one man dead and another facing murder charges. According to the official release on the city's website, the events unfolded around 8:31 p.m. at the high school parking lot located at 6401 Parkwood Blvd.
Responding officers found Robert Taylor, a 34-year-old from Plano, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Attempts were made to quickly save his life right there on the asphalt, a desperate bid to mend a breaking thread of life. The victim was transported to a local hospital by the Frisco Fire Department, where he was later pronounced dead, as reported by the City of Frisco's official notification. The suspect, 45-year-old Jason Bartik from Celina, was detained by the authorities at the scene.
After conducting a detailed investigation, detectives from the Frisco Police Department formally charged Bartik with murder.
