Authorities in Harris County arrested a man following a traffic stop last Saturday in the 1900 block of North Sam Houston Parkway West, where he showed signs of intoxication. After Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, Pervaiz Ahmad Parker’s blood alcohol concentration was recorded at 0.093, above the legal limit, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
"Pervaiz Ahmad Parker was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated," as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4. His bond was set at $100 by County Court 6, as authorities continue efforts to address the dangers of drunk driving in the county.
The Constable's Office has increased patrols to address driving under the influence. Residents can follow updates on their Facebook page or through the mobile app “C4 NOW,” which provides live information on crime, arrests, and traffic accidents, according to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page. A recent traffic stop led to the removal of an intoxicated driver, Parker, from the road.
