On Sunday, a deputy from Constable Mark Herman’s Office stopped Mike Hernandez on the North Sam Houston Tollway West after his driving suggested impairment. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests confirmed he was intoxicated, leading to his arrest, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
Further investigation showed this was Hernandez's second DWI offense, as he had a prior conviction for driving while intoxicated, as stated by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4. Constable Herman noted the seriousness of repeat offenses and the ongoing challenges of addressing drunk driving in the community.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, "Mike Hernandez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Driving While Intoxicated – 2nd Offense," with bond set at $100 out of County Court 6.
