With the benevolence of this grant, Henderson Animal Protection Services is setting tails to wagging by offering no-cost adoptions for cats and dogs on select days in November. Those marked on the calendar are Friday, November 7, Saturday, November 8, and Monday, November 10. According to the city's official announcement, a range of four-legged companions eagerly await their new homes.
Adoptions and placements for fostering are thoroughly handled, with applicant screenings being a requisite part of the process. It's a first-come, first-serve deal though, so those interested should plan to visit early. The opportunity is not just for the hasty, but also for the prepared—ensuring the right fit between furry friend and family. The doors of Henderson Animal Protection Services, at 300 E. Galleria Dr., will remain open from Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with adoptions finalized by closing.
