Investigators quickly identified 23-year-old Lamonte Keshawn Ramseur from Newton as the suspect, establishing that the victims and suspect were acquainted; following the discovery of evidence, a murder warrant was obtained for Ramseur's arrest, who was later apprehended with support from the Catawba County Sheriff's Office and the Newton Police Department, as reported by the Hickory Police Department.
