Hilliard gains a new Stormwater Coordinator as the city welcomes Ryan Rudd to the Community Development Department, now in charge of overseeing stormwater regulations, conducting inspections, and maintaining the city's stormwater systems, both public and private, City of Hilliard’s official news release.
Rudd comes with an impressive resume, previously an environmental specialist in Westerville, where he dealt with stormwater reconstruction, and before that, his career had him crisscrossing the country with a focus on architectural engineering and construction, now bringing all that experience to play in Hilliard's ongoing development, Rudd told the City of Hilliard's official news release.
Despite living in Delaware, Rudd has familial ties to Hilliard and is poised to immerse himself in his "new adventure" and the associated developments within the city, as he mentioned his excitement in a conversation with the City of Hilliard’s official channel.
When Rudd is not managing stormwater, he dedicates time to his family – including his wife, young daughter, and their husky named Elsa – and has a penchant for hands-on DIY projects around his home, painting a picture of a community-oriented individual now serving the municipality of Hilliard, as noted by the city's announcement.
