Yesterday, the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners paused its regular meeting to recognize six outstanding youths with the Youth Excellence and Achievement Awards (YEA! Awards). The ceremony highlighted their leadership, perseverance, and dedication to community service, as reported by Hillsborough County’s official newsroom.
The awards, presented in three categories—Leadership, Success Despite Difficult Odds, and Volunteer or Community Service—honor middle and high school students who have demonstrated initiative, resilience, and civic engagement.
This year’s honorees include Arin Jadhao and Ainara Gomez for Leadership; Tritiya Rajagopal and Suma Gadde for Volunteer or Community Service; and Alidy Clark and Malia Kirschman for Success Despite Difficult Odds. These students were recognized for their notable contributions and achievements within their schools and communities.
