Hillsborough County residents are invited to a Town Hall meeting hosted by Commissioner Christine Miller to discuss Operation Safe Passage. The meeting is scheduled for Nov. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Brandon High School Auditorium. The Town Hall meeting will provide residents an opportunity to learn more about road safety measures near schools and the ongoing efforts of Commissioner Miller’s office.
Operation Safe Passage is a traffic safety program run in partnership between the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office and Hillsborough County. The program uses cameras in school zones to help ensure that drivers follow posted speed limits and improve safety for students.
