Authorities at the Houston Premium Outlets are searching for a duo suspected of shoplifting from the Sunglass Hut store, as reported by Constable Mark Herman's Office. On October 12, two individuals, a man and a woman, were caught on camera allegedly concealing merchandise valued at $202 and exiting the store without paying for the items. The event is taking place at approximately 2:20 p.m. This information was shared by the Constable's Office.
Herman's Office, hoping to leverage community support, has released clear surveillance images of the suspects and is actively seeking assistance to identify them. The images capturing the duo as they maneuvered around the store with what appears to be casual deliberation, ultimately, they came away with unpaid merchandise.
In an effort to crack the case, the Office is appealing to the public, stating, "If you have any information regarding this case, you are urged to contact our dispatch or your local law enforcement. All tips will remain anonymous," as outlined in a Facebook post by Constable Mark Herman.
Staying connected and informed about local incidents is made more accessible for residents as the Constable's Office encourages the public to follow their updates on the Precinct 4 Facebook page, and to take advantage of their mobile app, "C4 NOW," which provides live feeds on an array of community concerns including crime, arrests, safety tips, traffic alerts, and road conditions—efforts made to foster a communicative and vigilant community partnership in crime prevention.
