
A deputy with Constable Mark Herman’s Office recovered a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop on Wednesday in the Houston area. The vehicle had been reported stolen, and the driver was taken into custody following the deputy’s verification, as reported by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
“Michael Stone was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. His bond was set at $10,000.00 out of the 339th District Court,” Constable Mark Herman stated in a social media post, as mentioned by the Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
According to the Harris County Constable Precinct 4 on their Facebook page, the office has introduced a mobile app, “C4 NOW,” to provide real-time updates on crime and public safety incidents. Motor vehicle theft remains a concern in Houston, with authorities urging residents to secure their vehicles and use anti-theft devices.
