
A tragic traffic incident in Houston has resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man who was injured in a collision on October 4 at the intersection of 500 Crosstimbers Street. The victim, who was in the crosswalk, was struck by a gray Toyota Corolla driven by 54-year-old Roosevelt Anthony Ervin and later hit a nearby building, according to the City of Houston.
Houston police confirmed that the young man died on Wednesday from injuries sustained in the crash. Paramedics transported him to a local hospital, but despite medical efforts, he did not survive, as reported by the City of Houston.
Roosevelt Anthony Ervin was arrested at the scene of a collision on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, his second offense. He is facing charges in Harris County Criminal Court #12.
