Authorities in Houston are investigating the death of a 54-year-old man who was shot on the 7900 block of Comal Street around 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday. The man crashed his vehicle into a telephone pole after being shot and was declared dead at the scene, according to the City of Houston.
Detectives from HPD's Homicide Division reported the victim had an altercation with a male on a bicycle just before the shooting. The suspect fled on foot toward the south, and authorities continue to investigate the incident, as reported by the City of Houston.
Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting and are asking anyone with information to come forward. "Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS," the news release states.
