Houston police are investigating a deadly shooting on Russell Street that killed Ramon Martinez Linares, a man in his 50s, last Saturday morning. Officers arrived around 2:20 a.m. and found Linares with a gunshot wound; paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene, according to the City of Houston.
HPD Homicide Division Sergeant B. Roberts and Detective J. Wallschlaeger responded and determined the shooting involved another male who fled the scene. Authorities are seeking tips from the public to help identify the suspect and advance the investigation, as reported by the City of Houston.
