Houston police are investigating a fatal stabbing after finding an unresponsive man with multiple wounds at a vacant lot on 4512 Katy Freeway on Tuesday. Paramedics pronounced the man dead at the scene, and his identity is pending confirmation by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, according to the City of Houston.
Officers responded to the scene around 7:50 a.m., but no suspects or motives have been identified. The case is being led by HPD Homicide Division Detectives J. Caten and K. Stringer, as reported by the City of Houston.
Authorities are investigating a homicide near the Katy Freeway service road and are asking for the public’s help. "Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or speak anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS," as stated by the City of Houston.
