Earlier this week, an incident of impaired driving was intercepted by law enforcement officers on Ella Boulevard, as reported by the Constable's Office. On the night of October 12, Deputy Constables carried out a traffic stop at the 16900 block, where they encountered a driver, Margarita Sanchez, who showed clear signs of intoxication.
Following the encounter, deputies administered a battery of Standardized Field Sobriety Tests, these tests subsequently confirmed Sanchez's state of intoxication affirming the deputies' initial suspicions that her abilities were indeed impaired, a concern for public safety that prompted the stop; "Margarita Sanchez was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail for Driving While Intoxicated. Her bond was set at $100.00 out of County Court 13,” said Constable Mark Herman, in a statement detailed on the Mark Herman, Harris County Constable Precinct 4.
