
Two women died in Houston's Sunnyside neighborhood after being hit by a vehicle during an altercation. The incident happened on Wednesday around 3:30 a.m. on the 8900 block of Cullen Boulevard, according to Click2Houston.
The Houston Police Department reported that a red sedan struck two women, one in her 30s and another in her 50s, during a dispute while they were on the ground. Bystanders tried to call the police, but the driver did not stop to help.
Police are investigating a fatal hit-and-run after two women died at the crash site. They are reviewing surveillance footage to identify the driver of a red sedan. The Houston Police Department hit-and-run division is leading the investigation and working to identify the victims. Sgt. Rose told ABC13, "As of this time, we do have some surveillance of that vehicle, but we are going to be looking for more evidence and trying to find that vehicle and that person because it is a crime to leave the scene of a crash where people are seriously injured or dead."
