An armed robbery incident that unfolded in an ʻAiea parking lot last Saturday night is currently under investigation by the Honolulu Police Department. As reported on the official HPD Facebook page, a 20-year-old male and a 17-year-old female were confronted by four males, one of whom was armed with a handgun, demanding the male victim's gold chain.
According to the social media post, the assault and attempted robbery took place at approximately 11:50 p.m. on Pali Momi Street. Faced with the threat, bystanders stepped in, an action that caused the suspects to flee without the chain.
