Insurance Commissioner Mike Causey will attend a blood drive fundraiser in North Wilkesboro. The event, organized by the Department of Insurance’s Criminal Investigations Division, will begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow and will support the Special Olympics. The event will also provide an opportunity for blood donations.
Residents and officials gathering at the D Street Parking Lot behind the department's North Wilkesboro Regional Office at 307 9th Street can expect Commissioner Causey to attend. According to a press release from the NC Department of Insurance, the Commissioner’s schedule confirms his participation in the event.
The public is invited to join Commissioner Causey and the Department of Insurance team in supporting the Special Olympics and the ongoing need for blood donations. Refreshments such as cookies and juice will be provided to donors.
