The Iredell County Sheriff's Office has added a new deputy to its staff. In a social media post, Sheriff Michael Dyson announced that Michael Dyson has joined the department. Dyson previously served as a police officer for the City of Claremont and holds a Basic Law Enforcement Training certification, completed in January 2024.
According to the Iredell County Sheriff, Dyson holds a Bachelor's Degree from Lenoir-Rhyne University and a Master's Degree from Western Carolina University. The Sheriff’s Office welcomed Deputy Dyson to the team and stated they are looking forward to the "great work he will do serving the citizens of Iredell County." With his experience and background in law enforcement, Deputy Dyson is preparing to take on various responsibilities at the Iredell County Sheriff's Office.
