The City of Jacksonville, Florida, is asking people to donate unopened and unexpired jars of peanut butter for the last part of the 2025 Peanut Butter Challenge. The goal is to help provide food for people in the local community.

In a recent social media post from the City of Jacksonville announced that the Peanut Butter Challenge ends on October 31, giving residents until the end of the month to donate. The post noted that both creamy and crunchy peanut butter jars are accepted for the challenge.

To support the final phase, several drop-off locations have been set up across the city. These include the Duval County Extension Office, City Hall, Jacksonville Main Library, all Jacksonville Public Library branches in Duval County, and the Ed Ball Building. Donors can select the location that is most convenient for them.

In addition to fixed drop-off locations, community volunteers will collect donations during a weekend event. The UF / IFAS Extension Duval County Agriculture table will be at the Treats at the Fountain event on Saturday from 3-6 p.m.
