Drivers in Janesville should expect traffic changes as pavement repair work begins on Beloit Avenue near Reuther Way. According to a news release from the City of Janesville, construction started today and will continue through Thursday. During this period, right turns from Reuther Way onto Beloit Avenue will be restricted.
At least one lane in each direction on Beloit Avenue will remain open, but drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes to reduce congestion. The city is reminding motorists to slow down and follow posted signs in the construction area.
The full pavement repair project is expected to be completed by Thursday next week. Until then, the Beloit Avenue and Reuther Way intersection will remain an active construction zone, and caution is advised for all drivers passing through the area.
