The City of Janesville Recreation Division will host the Riverside Drive-Thru Trunk or Treat event on Saturday next week, at Riverside Park. Families can participate from their vehicles between 10 a.m. and noon, driving through the park to visit decorated vehicle trunks where costumed hosts will distribute Halloween treats, according to a City of Janesville announcement.
Nineteen local businesses and organizations, including Macco’s Floor Covering Center and Eyemart Express, will take part in the event. Their decorated vehicles will line the park route, offering candy to children and promoting community participation.
The event is designed to provide a safe and convenient way for families to enjoy Halloween activities. Admission is free, but donations are encouraged to support future community programs. For additional details or inquiries, residents may contact the Recreation Division at (608) 755-3030.
