The local Swanee Theatre will play host to a Halloween book release event on October 30 at 6 p.m., gathering book lovers and costume enthusiasts alike for an evening of literary excitement.
In a recent news release by KannapolisNC.gov, it was announced that debut authors Rowana Miller and Roselyn Clarke will be spotlighted at the event, ready to unveil their latest novels. Miller's book, "Secrets of the Blue Hand Girls," and Clarke's "Now She’s Dead," are both being teased as spine-tingling thrillers perfect for the season.
Open to the public with no admission fee, the event is geared towards tweens and teens eager to delve into new stories that promise to send shivers down their spines.
