In Knoxville, members of the Knoxville Police Department – TN Management Services partnered with volunteers from Village Church for a community workday focused on maintenance and improvements. Participants repainted the church’s front handrails and completed other repair tasks, according to the Village Church's Facebook post shared by the Knoxville Police Department Facebook page.
The event was organized by KPD officer and church member Micah Hutchins as part of an effort to support the upkeep of church facilities and strengthen community ties. The activity provided an opportunity for officers and residents to work together toward a shared goal.
The collaboration reflected a commitment to community service and cooperation between local organizations. Volunteers expressed appreciation for the teamwork and collective effort shown throughout the project.
