Kovach Enclosure Systems, the powerhouse behind many of the country's impressive commercial and architectural projects, has firmed up its relationship with Chandler, Arizona, by committing to a substantial expansion that is set to further build on its 50-year presence in the city. According to a release from the City of Chandler's news center, Kovach will take on an additional 190,475 square feet at Chandler Freeways Business Park, a recently revitalized industrial locale at 6955 W. Morelos Place.

With roots firmly planted in Chandler since the 1970s, Kovach currently employs 365 individuals and is gearing up to transfer its headquarters to this new space, which is more than half again as large as its existing facility. The freshly inked lease promises to bring state-of-the-art industrial facilities in line with the company’s needs to adapt and grow. "Kovach has proudly called Chandler home for many years, and this expansion represents not just a growth, but a deepening of our partnership with the City of Chandler,” Brad Wright, President of Kovach Enclosure Systems, told the City of Chandler news center.

The Mayor of Chandler, Kevin Hartke, showed no shortage of enthusiasm about Kovach’s decision, citing the move as an affirmation of Chandler's robust economy and skilled workforce. Micah Miranda, Chandler’s Economic Development Director, emphasized the local manufacturing and construction sector's strength, suggesting Kovach's reinvestment was an indicator of confidence in the city's strategic assets and supportive business atmosphere. These remarks were spotlighted by Chandler's news center, reflecting the shared excitement of the city's leadership.

With construction of the buildings projected to be completed by the third quarter of 2026, Kovach will relocate their operations to continue their trajectory of creating high-quality jobs and world-class projects. The expansion facilitated through a 15-year lease negotiated by Cushman & Wakefield’s Mike Haenel, positions Kovach to bolster its footprint in the area and continue to invest in the people and future of Chandler. Ryan Companies and Alidade Capital were noted to have assumed the roles of landlord and developer, respectively, by the City of Chandler.

Rooted in innovation and known for its comprehensive approach to building enclosures, Kovach’s reputation as a design and manufacturing leader is shown in their various high-profile projects. With a vested interest in its workforce, as highlighted by their 100% employee ownership model, Kovach places emphasis on professional development and continuous training, which likely contributes to the success and longevity of their operations in the region. The partnership with Chandler, from one perspective, seems to echo Kovach's own philosophy—investing in their foundations to inspire and manifest the architectural visions they are entrusted with.
