McClarren Jr., 29, was identified as the casualty in the accident that occurred shortly before 4 p.m. As reported by ABC6, McClarren Jr. was waiting to make a turn off State Route 56 West when his motorcycle was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Tracy L. Brigner II, 38, from Circleville.

The incident took place between McClean Mill Road and Grice Road in Jackson Township. According to an NBC4i release, McClarren Jr. stopped to await eastbound traffic before attempting to make his turn. It was in this moment of pause that his motorcycle was hit, fatally injuring him. Tragically, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Tracy L. Brigner II, the driver of the Chevrolet that collided with McClarren's motorcycle, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Ohio Health Berger Hospital. WBNS reported that the motorcycle was identified as a Honda Shadow and the vehicle that hit it was a Chevrolet Cruze.
