The Light of the World Church was recognized with the Clean Sweep Award during the recent Lawton City Council meeting for its ongoing efforts to help maintain the city’s cleanliness and appearance. The award honors organizations that contribute to litter removal and beautification projects across Lawton.
According to the City of Lawton’s official announcement, Mayor Stan Booker presented the award to the church on Tuesday night, acknowledging its volunteer work and consistent participation in community clean-up efforts.
