
Macomb County will host the 2025 Housing Summit on November 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Macomb Community College South Campus in Warren, organized by the County Department of Health and Community Services in partnership with the Macomb Regional Housing Partnership and the Department of Planning and Economic Development. The event will present findings from the recently completed Community and Housing Needs Assessment, covering county-wide housing challenges and local-specific conditions, according to the Macomb County.
Attendees will have the opportunity to review strategies and recommendations to address housing issues in Macomb County. The summit will also include discussions on potential solutions to improve local living conditions and community development.
Andrew Cox, Director/Health Officer at the Macomb County Department of Health and Community Services, announced that the 2025 Macomb County Housing Summit will be held at Macomb Community College this November. He stated, "We’re proud to be able to host the 2025 Macomb County Housing Summit and share the results of the Community and Housing and Needs Assessment." Cox added, "Anyone who attends this event will have the perfect opportunity to hear the results of the assessment first-hand, explore recommendations for action, and take part in discussions that will guide the future of housing in Macomb County." He also said, "I encourage anyone who is interested in housing in Macomb County to attend." The summit will present the findings of the Community and Housing Needs Assessment and provide a forum for discussions on housing in the county.
