On October 4 in the 15400 block of Bosque Viejo Trail in Channelview, a fight at a homecoming party moved from the backyard to the front of a house and gunshots were fired. Deputies found an 18-year-old, a 16-year-old and a 37-year-old man shot. Click2Houston reported that 20-year-old Hugo Salgado has been arrested and charged with three counts of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury. The 37-year-old man is the father of one of the teens, the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said.

Police say Salgado has been booked into the Pasadena City Jail in connection with a shootout that occurred after uninvited guests refused to leave a party and pulled guns. Three people were injured in the exchange of gunfire, but their conditions were reported as non-life-threatening, according to FOX26 Houston.

Salgado is currently the only person charged, and authorities have not confirmed if other suspects are being pursued. Investigators have not released additional information about others involved as the case remains open.
