
Police are searching for a suspect following an armed robbery at the 86 Street subway station in Manhattan. The incident occurred yesterday morning when a 57-year-old woman was accosted by an unidentified assailant who placed a black firearm to her head and demanded her belongings, according to a social media post by NYPD Crimestoppers.
The event took place at approximately 11:18 a.m., and the suspect, who remains at large, fled the scene on a maroon bicycle traveling westbound on West 88 Street. While the attack was undoubtedly traumatic, no injuries have been reported in connection with the robbery.
