
Milwaukee Area Technical College’s downtown campus went into lockdown Thursday afternoon after several masked individuals were spotted on campus. The incident occurred around 1:45 p.m., prompting a quick response from Milwaukee police, WTMJ reported. Surveillance footage showed three people wearing ski masks and behaving suspiciously, which led to the security lockdown.
Students and staff were directed to shelter in place while officers searched the campus. As reported by WISN, one student, Steven Jenkins, said he and his classmates barricaded themselves inside their classroom after learning of the situation.
Milwaukee police later gave the all-clear before 3 p.m., confirming that the individuals had already left the campus. Authorities stated that no active threat was found, according to FOX6Now,
