The Maui Emergency Management Agency reported the fire near Makaala Drive and Kahekili Highway in Waiehu around 11:35 a.m. According to KITV, it was contained by the Maui Fire Department in less than an acre of land and extinguished by 12:14 p.m. No evacuations were ordered.
