The Maui Police Department has issued a call for assistance to the public in locating Randall Miller, a 70-year-old man reported missing from his home in Wailuku. According to a social media post from the department, Miller was last seen on Monday, around 3:00 p.m. by a neighbor on Hina PoePoe Way.
Family members reported him missing on Tuesday, after discovering Miller had left his residence sometime before 6:00 a.m. the previous day. Miller is described as Caucasian, standing at 5 feet 8 inches tall, and weighing about 175 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. When last seen, he was wearing a grey short-sleeved shirt and grey sweatpants.
Significantly, Miller does not own a vehicle, which complicates the search especially considering calls to his cell phone have been fruitless since the device is currently turned off. The Maui Police Department underscores the severity of the situation and the need for public intervention.
Officials are urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Miller to contact them at their non-emergency number, 808-244-6400 or to dial 911 in the case of an emergency. Referring to MPD report number 25-029964 will aid in ensuring the relevant details are swiftly communicated to the officers in charge of the case.
