Charges have been filed against a suspect connected to the homicide of a 16-year-old victim in Milwaukee, as per a statement from the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office. The suspect, identified as Martell D. Haire, faces multiple charges including First-Degree Reckless Homicide, Use of a Dangerous Weapon. This information was detailed in a press release published by the Milwaukee Police Department on yesterday.
Last Monday, the said incident unfolded on the 7900 block of W. Hampton Avenue. Charged in connection with a homicide investigation, Haire is also facing two counts of First-Degree Reckless Injury and one count each of First-Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety and Possession of a Firearm by a Felon. Conviction on these charges could lead him facing up to 141 years and 6 months in prison, and a potential fine of up to $250,000. Walking free, Milwaukee Police are still looking for Haire and have encouraged public cooperation to help locate him.
