
Two hikers in Northern California who had been reported missing were found safe after an overnight search by local enforcement. According to a FOX40 report, the duo was several hours past due from their intended return time when the Placer County Sheriff’s Office was alerted just before 9 p.m. on Thursday. Gathering information from the hikers' family, Placer County Sheriff's Office located their vehicle in a parking area near Royal Gorge.
An aerial search failed to turn up a sign of the missing men due to it being conducted around midnight by PCSO, but the search efforts were undeterred with the onset of dawn.
