
The Montgomery County Police Department’s Major Crimes Division is asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects connected to a homicide in North Bethesda on Sunday last week.
As per the Montgomery County Department of Police release, the suspects, identified as 18-year-old Joshua Carter and 25-year-old Justin Michael Greene Collins, both from Silver Spring, are wanted on charges of first-degree murder, armed robbery, and kidnapping in the death of 29-year-old Akwalabeng Fontava.
Police said Fontava was fatally shot inside an apartment on the 5900 block of Montrose Road. After the shooting, a man and a woman were abducted and forced into a vehicle. The male victim was later released in Burtonsville. The vehicle was later found at Westfield Montgomery mall, where police arrested 37-year-old Sheldon Milan Boykins of Hyattsville and recovered the female victim. Boykins is being held without bond.
Detectives obtained warrants for Carter and Collins, charging each with first-degree murder, two counts of kidnapping, and two counts of armed robbery.

Tipsters may remain anonymous and could be eligible for a reward between $250 and $10,000 if their information leads to an arrest.
